THE REAL REASON GUN CONTROL DOG WON'T HUNT

On the one year anniversary of the tragedy in New Town, CT President Obama devoted his weekly address to remembering the twenty children and six adults who lost their lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The President then repeated his call for us(read the Republicans in the House) to do more to stop tragedy's of gun violence that have become all too common in the wake of his election.
Gun store owners reported a 400% increase in gun sales when Barack Obama was elected the nations first black president in 2008. When Obama was re-elected in 2012 an additional 400% increase was reported. The story was carried on noted NRA enthusiast Alex Jones' Info Wars website you can read the article here:

I guess there has to be a way to verify Jones' claims. Certainly if he or the NRA are inflating the numbers the resulting hysteria would have the same effect. Let's assume his data is accurate, what are the chances any meaningful gun control legislation gets passed with so many white people fooled into believing they can shoot their way back into power or at the very least blast President Obama out of office?
The argument conservatives make is that the 2nd Amendment gives them the right to kill as many Trayvon Martin's and Renisha McBride's as the law allows, until the message that blacks don't deserve the same liberties and freedoms as the backwards ingrates that haven't won a political battle in the last fifty years do.
I even heard a brother on the
Carl Nelson Show offer that the 2nd Amendment was crafted to protect Americans against tyranny from our own government. Of course that's not true but when you watch Fox News all day you tend to confuse the facts. The 2nd Amendment was never to protect the individual or the State from a potential black president. It was designed to protect a State from a FOREIGN government and or insurgency from a domestic terrorist.
Robert Parry nailed it in his piece titled;
How Fake 2nd Amendment History Kills, where Perry offers; "So, the Framers weren’t encouraging violent uprisings against the
republic that they were founding. To the contrary, they characterized
violence against the constitutional system as “treason” in Article III,
Section 3. They also committed the federal government to protect each
state from “domestic Violence,” in Article IV, Section 4. "
Parry's article cuts to the heart of why so many whites on both sides of the aisle have no interest in gun control. Too many are simply convinced that it just might be dumb enough to work and President Obama could on a lark be bullied out of office through anarchy and violence.
White Democrats are torn between Democracy and losing white privilege. While most White Democrats wouldn't actively or openly help conservatives destroy this president, but if it were to happen what harm would it do to them? Who's to say with Obama out of the way and the myth of white genetic superiority reinstated, certainly the Elizabeth Warren's, the Hillary Clinton's and the Chris Matthews' would be tapped to lead(Sen. Bernie Sanders).
Majority Speaker John Boehner said the Tea Party
forced him to shut down the Government, "Then I heard one of the[guys] in one of these groups say,
We didn't think it would work. You kidding me?" The truth is Boehner and every white person in this Country can say they knew it wouldn't work but allowed it to happen anyway why? Because what the heck, stranger things have happened.
Its this belief that maybe just maybe the next shooting the next bombing the next lie about the Affordable Care Act website or Box of Band Aids plan that you liked and Obama lied about you being able to keep, could just be crazy enough to destroy this president and put a nut like Sarah Palin in the White House at least it would put whites back on top.
There is only one reason why white democrats, progressives or independents don't put their foot down(preferably in a racists hind parts) and say enough already. I've asked liberal whites why don't they tell these idiots that they will never take back this Country by force? Their answer is always, "They won't listen to me I'm liberal." Its nonsense because liberal whites have a large majority and your silence is considered an endorsement.
TEA?
Conservatives use the Tea Party as their namesake because the Revolutionary War was successful. The difference between those Patriots and these Marxists is they weren't less then 1% of the Country going up against the 99%. Hate to burst their bubble but had only 1% of Americans agreed with the Revolutionary War I doubt very seriously that America would have won its independence over Great Britain.
White Democrats believe they can remain neutral in these shootings and that means allowing conservatives to simply turn the perpetrators into liberal
Dark Skinned Islamic Terrorists or
New Black Panthers and none will be the wiser. We had another Colorado shooting last week and unnamed sources report Karl Pierson, an 18 year old white, suburban, Tea Party nut-- who's parents bought part of the 400% more guns when Obama was elected-- is a liberal, possibly a Socialist. If Obama had a son...oh well if Obama's mother had a son from a white guy...
How many liberals rushed out to buy guns when President Obama was re-elected? Yet we're all supposed to be dumb enough to believe that this guy is an Obama supporter who wants to kill his white teacher, for what being too conservative and supporting Mitt Romney?
Its this lame belief that conservatives because they're white may know something that people with some sense don't know that's preventing the simplest of gun control legislation to even come up for a vote. How will the gun control issue end? There is precedent.
I grew up in Seattle, Washington and by 2006 the George Washington Memorial Bridge had seen 230 suicides making it second only to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in the entire world for suicides(SF had over 1200 over the same period). When the suicides abruptly stopped I figured everyone that was considering ending it all must have already done it.
I only found out when researching for this article that both bridges erected a suicide net that catches anyone who jumps off the bridge. If we are to end--and yes I mean end--the crazy gun violence in this Country we need a safety net that catches whites who think they can blast their way back into power.
We need white Democrats to put away their desire to see someone white as president and end their belief that anarchy just might restore the myth of white supremacy. We must stop making excuses about not being able to move the gun lobby or sway politicians who may be primaried. Whites must man(and woman) up, address that less than 1% who are mistakenly inspired by the Revolutionaries of 1812.
If you don't do it, too many white people will be cut down and for what to prove how superior whites are? Really?
